Tired of Self Help? Here’s How To Stay
Are you feeling stuck in your life? Sitting there wondering why things aren’t changing?
Feeling stuck isn’t just a spontaneous feeling, it’s a feeling created by negative thoughts and feelings that have built up over time.
It actually takes work to keep up the momentum of negativity! We’re constantly bombarded by harrowing news stories in the media, as society encourages the flow of negative thoughts and emotions to continue.
We want to fit in. No one wants to be that annoying positive person who sees the silver lining, even if it means sabotaging our own manifesting power, right?…
So, if you want to detect the things you’re doing that are keeping you stuck, so that you can… KEEP DOING THEM and continue creating a life you don’t love… let me help you out!
Here are 3 things you can do to make sure nothing changes:
A lot. To whoever will listen! And under no circumstances should you try to think about anyone other than yourself or how you could help them. Just think about you and how what is happening isn’t fair.
Blame everyone else and take no responsibility for anything.
Moan, whinge, have a tantrum when you don’t get your own way and give monologue length rants about why you are right and everyone else is wrong.
Complain about the same situation over and over and over again until people’s ears bleed, until you get sick of the sound of your own voice until your friends and family start distancing themselves and eventually disown you.
But don’t fear, if they won’t listen to you anymore, this is a good time to go stand on street corners and rant to strangers about your problems.
Complaining is a guaranteed technique for staying stuck – because every time you complain you create the situation all over again and cement yourself in even further.
Follow these instructions carefully and you’ll never have to face the burden of living a life that you love.
Ignore them, use positive thinking, pretend that everything is okay. Watch TV, take drugs, get drunk, or go shopping – do anything to distract yourself from actually feeling the pain. Repressing your feelings is a sure fire way to clog up your mind, body and spirit with negative gunk!
The best part is that when you do any of the deliciously self-sabotaging activities I mentioned, you’ll not only suppress your current bad feelings, but you’ll multiply them.
That’s right! These feelings accumulate over time and increase, like interest on a bank loan, every time they’re pushed under the rug.
Have you ever swept old food under the rug? Well in case you haven’t, I’ll tell you what happens… eventually, the mould gets so bad that it starts growing mould on top of the mould and unless you wear a nose plug, you’re going to struggle to stand the smell.
Now, if that’s not an incentive to keep avoiding your feelings…I don’t know what is?
Don’t sign up for that new class. Don’t hire a coach. Don’t ask anyone for help. Just keep doing things EXACTLY the same way.
Settle for your mediocre relationship, your mind-numbingly boring job or your unsatisfying sex life.
Go through life following mainstream standards like a sheep, living the same day over and over again like Groundhog Day.
Sound like a plan? If you continue to follow these instructions carefully you’ll set yourself up for a wonderful, stuck-y life
Of course, if you decide that maybe, just maybe you’re tired of the pain of being stuck, the monotony of your existence, the life of a rock, and you want to unstick yourself, just try doing the opposite of everything I said (quit complaining, feel what’s real and take new actions).
The choice is up to you…
